When you submit a claim through our platform, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and the details you provide about your insurance claim.

You may also upload supporting documents such as policy certificates, hospital bills, rejection letters, and identity documents. These files are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of processing your claim.

We collect basic usage data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location) through server logs to maintain and improve the service.

Your personal information is used exclusively to provide our claims consultancy services — reviewing your case, communicating with you about its status, and advocating on your behalf with the relevant insurer or regulatory authority.

We use your email address to send status updates and notifications related to your claim. We do not send promotional emails without your explicit consent.

Aggregated and anonymised data may be used internally to improve our processes and understand claim patterns across insurance categories.

All data is stored in encrypted MongoDB databases hosted in secure cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorised Samadhan consultants only.

Uploaded documents are stored with access controls and are not publicly accessible. Each document is associated exclusively with your case ID.

Authentication tokens are stored in HttpOnly cookies that cannot be accessed by browser scripts, protecting against cross-site scripting attacks.

We retain your data for the duration of your case and for three years thereafter to comply with regulatory requirements and handle any follow-up matters.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may share relevant claim details with the insurance company, Insurance Ombudsman, or IRDAI only as required to process your claim and only with your implied consent through the claim submission process.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

You may request correction of inaccurate information or deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.

You may request that we cease processing your data for purposes other than your active claim at any time.

Requests will be addressed within 30 days of receipt.

We use a single session cookie (samadhan_token) for consultant authentication purposes. This cookie is strictly necessary for the portal to function and cannot be disabled while using the authenticated area.

No third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies are used on this platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For material changes, we will notify active claimants by email.
